About Josh Norris

Lead Engineer Josh Norris joined GVFD after moving to Griswold, bringing 16 years of service with the Noxen Volunteer Fire Company in Pennsylvania, where he began as a junior member and later became captain. He also served with the Noxen Community Ambulance Association. At GVFD he works as a driver and pump operator, exterior firefighter, and lead engineer, and has chaired the brush truck and tanker truck committees. His experience includes wildland firefighting, pump operations, vehicle extrication, and rope rescue. An automotive and heavy truck mechanic, Josh keeps up with wildland training and new equipment. He enjoys time outdoors with his family and collecting antique Ford trucks.
